The Royal Rowing- and Sailing Society "KR&ZV Het Spaarne", in co-operation with Rowing Club "RV Rijnland", organizes this year again its two-day International Rowing Event. The rowing tour guides you through the numerous bulb fields full of flowering daffodils, hyacinths and tulips along the canals of the historic Dutch cities of Leiden and Haarlem. In 2024 the event will be held on the 19th and 20nd of April.
The International Rowing Event consists of two days of rowing:
- One day tour of the bulb fields starting from Clubhouse Spaarne at Heemstede
- One day tour of the city of Leyden starting from Clubhouse Rijnland at Leidschendam
We shall have two fleets of excellent tour rowing boats.
You may start either with the one-day Leiden-city tour on Friday and continue with the one-day Bulb fields tour on Saturday, or vice versa.
The event ends with a farewell dinner for all participants on Saturday the 20nd and will be held in the Spaarne clubhouse.
